5G-Enabled IIoT Framework Architecture Towards Sustainable Smart Manufacturing

With the rapid growth of advanced technologies in manufacturing sector, a revolution systems is underway and smart its sustainability are becoming key components towards fourth industrial revolution. In this context, IIoT (industrial internet things), represents bridge between digital physical environment by providing an interactive relation devices machines also through data sharing. Therefore, it creates working where decisions made real-time.The huge amount generated system, high reliability, low latency, connectivity demands IIoT-enabled intelligent system requires wireless transmission technology that goes far beyond 3rd 4th generation mobile network. 5G most appropriate communication for new enabled system’s requirements.Based on requirements sustainable characteristics communication, paper proposes 5G-enabled framework architecture environment, will allow support manufacturers factories 4.0 This improving while enhancing efficiency, process product quality, whole system. Besides, security threats challenges 5G-IIoT analyzed.
